Doha: Mangalore cricket Club (MCC) to present ’Dabazo’ Konkani musical show on April 12

Doha, 24 Feb 2013: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) will host ’Dabazo 2013’ a musical show on April 12, 2013 at the Al Ghazal Club. MCC, one of the oldest expatriate socio-cultural club in Qatar affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of the Indian Embassy, in its endeavor to serve the community. Since its inception in 1992, MCC has been organising various social, cultural, literary and educational activities in which members and non members alike participate in large numbers.

’Dabazo 2013’ will be a fusion of scintillating songs, fabulous dances and comedy by renowned artistes from Mangalore and Goa.

 

 

Konkani’s leading singer ’Yodeling King’ Melwyn Peris accompanied by popular singer Nephie Rod Pradhan from Mumbai, who has mesmerised the audiences around the Gulf and India, both winners of Global Konkani Music Award 2011 in male and female categories, Anabelle Moras, winner of ’Rani Kogull’ title of first Soad Konkani Reality Show, Robin Sequeira, Mangalore finalist of Soad 3 International, along with budding singer Nestor Peris are going to enthrall the audience with their melodius voices. ’Music Maestro’ Joel Pereira along with his band of musicians Roshan D’Souza, Jerome Coelho, Melwyn Fernandes from Mangalore and Theo Alvares (Goa) will provide the foot tapping music. Local dancers will support them with scintillating performances.

 
The pair of ‘King of Konkani Comedy’ Jerry Rasquinha and Joseph Pinto, with their unique skills in comedy will regale the audience with side splitting laughter. Roshan D’Silva, one of the best comperes around UAE with plenty of experience in conducting such shows, will add glitter to the show with his compering.
