He is an aspitant and also has fought several battles in the Assembly for congress and also faced humiliations. He is forthright an no nonsense business leader of the backward Kuruba comminity. He is able and also needs to be honoured for his good nature.Kharge had been given Central Ministry and his Son a ticket for election and won. Others will have to wait and see their chances if siddaramiah fails in his duties as C.M. Being an elected member of the house he needs all encouragement and support by all the 120 memebrs. The High command must also must take a good and quick decision and form the Government without wasting time to impress the voters behind them, and without giving any room for pressure tactics. People will appreciate that.

However, how it needs to be done is still open. The new MLAs should not be seen as interfering in Law Order machinery, allowing professional space, responsibility, trust and empowered accountability to the city police chief. People of the state of Karnataka have redeemed their pride which was trampled upon by the goons of the ruling party. Kannadigas have upheld democracy, decency and parliamentary decorum. In the process good, hard working and honest representatives have suffered but the redeeming feature is that we will have a stable government for the next five years without "Operation ....malas", horse trading resulting in un-necessary resignations and re-elections, resort bookings, disqualifications of members of the assembly, recourse to court cases etc. State governor did a very good job by not dismissing the government wisely leaving it to the people of the state. Karnataka is known for its educated people who are a silent majority and they have wisely decided the fate of the state. It is up to the new dispensation to prove that the voters trust is not misplaced. The same voters can reverse if you fail to deliver. Best of luck. P.S.: Do not challenge the Almighty! Good that exit polls predictions for Mangalore North and South constituencies proved wrong. The challenge by newcomer SDPI and established left-leaning forces in both constituencies did not stop Bava and Lobo. That is great team work by Congress leadership and ward level cadre in this district.
