Welcome to Shirva Rev Fr. Stany Tauro. Good report and coverege by Billevision. Thanks to Rev. Fr. Richard Coelho for his wonderful service to our parish for the past two years. Thanks bellevision for publishing this report.
Dear Gladys Rebello and others, what you have done is something great. Doing something good for your neighbor is the best way to practice our religion. All the best. Thanks Anil for this report.
A great deal of the credit for the positive relationships created must go to Bellevision media and Ward Celebration and other Initiatives by our Parish Priests. Keep it up
Yet another reason why "Bolie" is great! Prof. T. Pilavendran was not praising Belle for the sake of praising. He meant it!
Simple colloquial konkani. Entertaining reading. Keep it up.
Horrible and strange scenes! Never expected such stampede to take place in the so called developed country.
I felt like it is happening around us. thank you for writting about the people who stay away from their families and the feeling of togetherness with comedy.
very good article nice humour. I always wait to read more of you. Keep writting.

Thanks Professor for your good words about people of Moodibelle. You are always welcome to Moodubelle and if possible stay for a few more days
To be on time is good but not enough; our engineers and technocrats must aim at making this journey possible in under 8 hours. Distances need to be conquered to improve our efficiencies.
Belleans have warmly welcomed a son-in-law from Chennai, promoting national integration! When we read 2 states, story of my marriage, a novelette by Chetan Bhagat, we get a window at how literate and educated class displays its prejudices when it comes to social relationships across regions. That the Prof had the first hand opportunity to see for himself our village and its culture, and go back with application is very nice.
Does the Home Minister realize that he is interfering with the market dynamics, and succumbing to lobbying pressures of the fisher women? Would he agree to vegetable vendors and farmers demands as well to control their outlets as well as the acreage on which they are sown?
Raise fish in your backyard ponds and wells in villages and towns in protest!
It was pleasing to read the letter fromProf. Pilavendran. Yes you are right, people of Belle are good at hospitality and integrity. You being a well wisher of our native, may you visit our town many times in the future. Wishing you good in everything.
Very beatiful and meaningful poem by Charles. Keep writing.....
Contents of the letter from Prof. T. Pilavendran are touching. This will surely encourage us all to do what Valerian and Elias did. We mangloreans are brought up that way and it shows wherever we are. I do agree with Prof. T. Pilavendran regarding hotels in Udupi, except for few the hotels at Udupi are not as impressive as they are outside Udupi.
Glad to know that KPL2 will be hosted by Manipal. This would be the first high profile cricket match of this kind in Udupi District. It would be a great feast for cricket lovers who should attend in large numbers to cheer the teams and show the support to cricket, so that more and more matches are played here.
The road traffic woes would lessen in Dubai, if these become regular services. Do not know if the Abra operators would protest though..
The administration at all levels must give highest priority to root out the menace of plastic bags, wrappers, and disposables.
the condolence for this can not be expressed by way of this message we all are deeply dpressed due to the neglegence of concerned as it could not be termed as accident

File case against thief release, its like giving a certificate for the thief. Why there is no strict punishment for such people. Is our society has to continue like this??
wow..really nice pic..i really missed this rainy season..!!!!!!
It is a fantastic analysis by Philip, much better than those appear on national and international publications. You have touched the probable root causes.
Combination of factors like lack of respect for safety, illegal encroachment and dwelling, labor unions caused this disaster. After so many years politicians are fighting over scapegoats like CEO s!? I really liked your example of Panamboor of 1969 and now. It is worse now with worst possible narrow roads(NH17) and too many industries and establishments around, everyone has to cross it between Mangalore and Udupi without any free bi-pass road or proper long over bridge. In case of any disaster recipe for too many casualties without any physical escape root!
Good thought appropriately narrated in brief poem. Keep writing Charles...
Sir, Thank u very much for your liveley pictures and reminding me about my past, where i used to travel by the same train i.e Mubai to Udipi return on Quarterly basis. The train normally never used to run late. rgds

Beautiful scenes of travelling through rain, rain water, over flowing rivers, mud coloured flood water, wet roads, green fields are all feast to eyes. Great photography!.
I wonder if the recovered jewellery was handed over to their rightful owners? OR will this be dragged into court and make the people who lost the jewellery to suffer more! Spare them the ordeal and give them some relief by handing over gold to them.
Good to have this water taxis to ago around. But it would be great if the authorities arrange taxis between emirates, say between Dubai – Ajman and so on. This would really make travelling much easier.
"However the owners of the shops have complained that they did not receive any official notice from MCC."
Did they give notice to MCC and obtained its permission before constructing the illegal structure? MCC should also collect fine from these shop for using public property for carrying out their business.
Very clear pictures inspite of being taken from running train.Very nice to watch.
