This is stupidity we people are doing

An Indian restaurant in Doha is currently serving dates pickle everyday with meals. I never tasted or even heard of dates pickle before. It tastes really delicious. Every one must try this. I think this could be easily prepared at home like any other pickle.

Plane running with solar energy is interesting. If they develop this further, some day the fuel crisis may be solved. When the weather is cloudy recharging may not be possible though.

Airport authority should keep in mind that they are risking the lives of the passengers which should never be compromised. In fact they should be having all necessary advance equipments to keep the airport running 24 hours day and night which will even increase their revenue.

Our armed force fought 5 major wars and has wealth of experience in dealing with different terrains. But this is really disappointing. Article on the value of human life in India by Philip reveal important facts and reality. Human life does not get its due value in India. The compensation received by the victims of Bhopal tragedy is an example of this. Politicians feel that once they declare the compensation to victims their moral obligation is over. Though, to the dear and near ones the life of victim is worth more than money, one must insure their life, so at least the insurance money will give some help to their dependents. But surely, as Philip mentioned one must create greater wealth to have greater value of our life.

I completely agree with EJD. Though, Gulf provided employments to our youths all these years, the jobs in Gulf are diminishing now. We need to have all the information available to our younger generation so that they will be able to choose the right career that suits them and start with the basic education accordingly. With this kind of education they can be competitive to find jobs anywhere. Due to lack of information many youths take up the basic education that does not suit them and later change their field wasting years of education. But anyway the awareness in much better among people now. This program conducted by Fudar Prathistan, Catholic Sabha, Moodubelle Unit and the leaders of Belle Parish will surely be very useful.

I am really delighted to hear some good news from back home.Also,I am agree with MRS.MARY MATHIAS for not getting guidence or any sort of help for brilliant students in chosing a good career in olden days. students were to depend on fellow students in chosing a particular course.Students were misguided or rather discouraged to take science/math. based courses.Therewere some educated people even 35 to 40 years back, but they were selfish and were not helpful.Myself and my brothers were good at studies but in the absence of guidence or motivation,we opted for lesser known degree courses.please keep it up your first step for education/scholarship counselling for children and i hope you will also continue your good work for counselling for better jobs within our country.how long we can depend on jobs abroad?
