Nice report of Karkol Fest. Pleased to know the contribution of Henry Monis, Roshan and Pravin -The Belle Parishioners.
No surprises here really other than Christopher Nolan getting snubbed in the Best Director category. I thought The Social Network was severely overrated and got most of its attention due to the subject matter rather than the movie as a whole. I m a big David Fincher fan and he s never let me down. Good movie but it didn t make my Top Ten. I thought Howl was by far the best movie of the year with its combination of animation, acting (James Franco as Allen Ginsberg), and cinematography. You can check out my list on my artist s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2010/12/top-10-movie-picks-of-2010.html

This is the Nexus of Local Politicians, Custom Excise Officials, Police Officials,Monster Mafias etc... and the Loot on Govt Oil Depots and Storage is on going from last 30 years in many states. On every Tankers the Looter Share Holders price is fixed. Some time after Looting 70-75% of Stock they put Depots and Storage on fire to show the lost is due to fire. India cannot afford killings of the Honest Whistle Blowers and must stand up to bring this Monster Nexus down. JAI HIND.

Yes I agree …Mangalore is 2nd cleanest city and 1st in dirtiest politics in Karnataka.
it was a distinction to drive such a car.
This one overshadowed all the refined and powerful cars that had existed before in Belle.

It s a " BIRTH RIGHT " of every Citizens and Tax-payers to know how the Nexus of Political Pimps [ so called Power Broker, Lobbyists, Middleman etc...] Industrialists, Corrupt Politicians, Bureaucrats, Journalists etc...organized a pre-planned Ministry to Loot the Country. This Nira Radia tapes must be made public.
Such a darling person Ubbappu is. Had a re-flash on our child hood days in Devaragudde. As name itself narrates Truly God resided there when we see the bonding of those 10 families in Devaragudde which still continues. We should also understand the importance of a joint family and need to focus on bringing joint family culture back again.
DEAR URBAN BAPPU,
HEART TOUCHING STORY. MAY GOD SHOWER HIS CHOICEST BLESSINGS ON YOU, GRANT YOU GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS. AS WE VISIT YOU EVERY YEAR DURING OUR HOLIDAYS IN INDIA ,YOUR LIFE SIMPLICITY IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE TO ALL OF US. WE LOVE YOU BAPPU.
nice to see marne school anual day.congratulations to Mr. Dayananda Nayak, headmaster school comittee for excellent developments in a remote village school.all the best.
I do not understand why the CM should still hold on to his office if what he has done is "immoral" but not "illegal". If it is not illegal let him step down on moral grounds and battle out the case in court of law like all other criminals who are considered innocent until proven guilty. There are other people to take care of the party and the state until he is exonerated.
After reading the sad "biography" of Ubbu, parents should realise how important it is to vaccinate their children and save them from future hardships. I know Ubbu from his birth. It is unfortunate that he should undergo hardships from an early age; but he is fortunate to have a large family, every member of which loved him and cared for him. Ubbu was and is a quiet person; never demanding anything from anyone. Always ready to undergo any hardship when his siblings wanted to help him to become self supporting. The feed back from his nephews, nieces and grand children speaks volumes about his simplicity and loving nature. The way he spends his time should make the physically fit people ashamed of themselves. God bless you Ubbu. Take care.
An inspiring story of Urban Castelino not only for the physically challenged, but also for those who want to live a life of dignity and self-respect.
Congratulations Uttam for being chosen to lead the newly formed SMMKC. I am sure under your able leadership, SMMKC will reach great heights. Also best wishes to Mr. Lawrence Dsouza and other core committee members of SMMKC.
I am so glad that Ubbu mam s life is displayed in bellevision. My sincere thanks to Eugine D souza.
Just to add to what is explained - when Ubbu mam was studying at Nittur, he would walk along with me when he would use sticks to walk. Better part of the sticks was that he would aim at the small stones (jalli pathor) to ensure that they reach till home - a distance of more than a kilometer - of course with rare exceptions when the stone was picked up from far off for my mam to try his skill of giving a hard knock.
He is an expert in construction of wells. Few times he explained to how the wells are dug, how the rings are positioned and so son - may be some of our qualified engineers can take his advice - no exaggeration here.
With all limitations, let the readers of bellevision know that Ubbu mam has been to various places including mysore, bangalore and other cities (has visited the colourful brindvan). My joys were overflowing when I had the previlege to take him to Mahableshwar. Let the readers be proud he had the great HORSE ride. Wish it was provided to be displayed here.
Ubbu mam is a good cook - he treats me whenever i visit him - both of us have a gala time
