For the further information about Sarpagandha - This plant is called "Garadapathal" in Konkani. The taste of the roots and plant is bitter. This plant is exclusively used as the medicine for the treatment for the snake bite. This Plant has 2 types - one with white flowers and other with pinkish flowers. The reason to be called as sarpagandha in my place may be because the root at the deepest end just becomes like a Cobra Head. My mother and I were very fond of searching this plant. We have planted many plants in our garden in Kanarady.

Shame and disgrace to the Lawyer fraternity. Many are generously bribing the officials in the Revenue matters and the Revenue officials are demanding more and more for a simple mandatory work of issue of Family tree and RTC etc. Inspite of decently paid now, there is no reason for expecting gratification.
To check corruption, voice recorder could be used for bribing persons also so that they are also brought to Book.
The officials who book more cases may also be considered for honours.

I am sorry to state that the BSY Government has thrown all the rules and procedures to Winds and formed the House Panel and decided to suspend the MLA s. It is all bogus, humbug and ultra vires and the persons involved in this decision making should be prosecuted by the constitutional authority for flouting the Constitution. The so called authpority must be first suspended by protectors of Constitution before any further action on the MLAs.
Enough is enough. There is a limit for unscrupulous acts on the Institution of Legislature. The Oppositions are wll within their rights. These elected Representatives must not be paid if they do not behave according to Law and rules.

We have natures treasures all around us and we are highly ignorant about them. I have seen this plant around my house and never knew its medicinal values. I request Me. Dinesh and Bellevision team to have more articles on such plants so that we can value and preserve these plants.

When Moodubelle will have such roads, since my childhood I am hearing that there will be state highway passing thru Belle. Politicians are just fooling the people including the so called politicians of Moodubelle. Instead of having good roads they have surely built their own bungalows, tar roads till their residence and amassed huge property. It is high time we Bellens compliant to Lokayukta to verify the income source of these petty politicians

I fully agree with karnataka christa ranga, when it says that Christian Community is not safe . Knowing the drama of false statements and changing the versions very frequently by BSY, many leaders are in support for BJP for the reasons best known for them. They go to Church and come back and back BJP. This gives more courage to BJP/RSS to advance against churches and institutions. On the background of the corrupt practices our Church leaders also practiice the same and thus demoralize the anti corruption activists. There is double standard and practice among Church Leaders and they play and practice corruption and try to keep away the clean and faithful laity in church matters. This must be checked. Karnataka Christiranga, if gives call for protests like strike etc. against the BSY style of functioning, it is right time and it is now.

People would laugh if you tell Manipal is harvard of India (not just abroad but also in India). IIT/IIMs are the ones which are considered as real MIT/Harvards of India

We alwyas complaint about K.S.R.T.C,but we never appriciate their hard work,pations,and politeness,specialy volvo staff.With no options,i travell in K.S.R.T.C,Volvo from Mumbai to Manglore once and realized what service it offers,if compare with those private busses and their abussive attitude.The volvo is punctual,and they speak our Tulu,and Kannada launguage. This kind of service is avail only in our Karnataka K.S.R.T.C, i feel .In the same trip a lady claim that she cant find her one sadal,and its she reached Udupi,ticketmaster fail to find and the driver get up from Driving seat with searchlight and help the lady to find her sandal with a smiley face.Then onwards my first choice for travell is Karnataka volvo,if unlucky,then any other private buss.
