Wonderful pictures dear Dr.Eugene D Souza and the lovely report on Nainita.We too(three sisters family) just finished the tour of North West including Nainital in the month of December.Nainital was the part of our Rajasthan tour.Among the places we really enjoyed in Rajasthan were Udaipur,Jaisalmer,Jodhpur and Jaipur and in Uttar Kand we had a memorable trip to Nainital..and the cool boat riding was fantastic.Thank you Doctor for giving us a wide narration of the story on Nainital and its glory.May God bless you.

Hearty congratulations to K.Shankara Pujary on his election as Zilla Panchayath president. Irrespctive of party affiliations this man had faught for the common people the villages and peasants and for thier survival. On many occasions without my knowledge this social worker had identified me and joined his voice with me for fighting against corruption.
Now that he is holding the reigns of Zilla panchayath, the common man can expect some concrete steps of developmental work in villages like Pambur, Bantakal, Kabyadi Padubelle kattingere etc, looking beyond his home town Katapadi.
I wish him all success in his regieme as President and let our Udupi Zille have a balanced development making good use of the resources received from the state and Central Government. God speed to Shankara Pujary. So alos the Vice President Mrs Jyothi to work hand in hand Good Luck to both .

Absolutely Jennifer! It is truly an amazing holiday hill resort no doubt about that. I had the good fortune of seeing this beautiful place couple of years ago (2004). Fantastic! Truly an ideal place to go along with your family to spend holidays. The lakes, snow view point, cable cars, the beautiful weather Nainital Lake surrounded by hills and buildings is just superb.
