My neighbour applied for ration card address change april 2012. But still january 2013 they didn\ t get the ration card from gov. office. My question is HOW MANY MAXIMUM DAYS CONSUME FOR ADDRESS CHANGE.

Thanks bellevision for this article and photos and your concern and efforts to show lack of responsibility from our authorites. Yes, it looks lack of responsibility from our concerned authorities part to ignore such a basic requirement where Karnataka is also hit by Dengu fever. Our Panchayat must take care and keep the surroudings clean and tidy. I request our Youngsters and social workers support to knock the doors of concerned authorities and wake them up if required. Shirva is a well known name in Udupi district and the reputation must be restored. Hope Panchayat is now aware and will restore clealiness and chock out plans towards periodical clean up process and will maintain healthy, clean environment.

I am in bangalore from 1995 to still 31st-dec-2012,but i have no ration card,how to apply.

This is a burning issue of Shirva and many other villages of DK for a long time where concerned authority failed to maintain and manage basics. Utter disrespect to the environment and towards the beauty and hygiene. Situation is so yakky in the picture...what would it be for the people moving around and shoppers? May be some organization can take up leadership and use college and school students for a cleanup drive. Organizations like USWAS, ICYM, College unions, Lions, Rotary...with the help of locals and like minded supporters can improve the situation. People of Shirva are generous. I am sure they will contribute for cleaner city if panchyath funds are empty!! There are lot of engineers in Shirva and Shirva origin. They can easily design or contribute towards a structured drainage system and effluent treatment plant. Issue of fines for littering will help the cause. When there is a will there is a way!

As a Indian the whole episode of gang rape in Delhi has let many questions to answer . What I feel is we have to Legalise(sex trade) prostitution in every major cities in India. As I was watching news channel through out these two weeks I am not satisfied with the suggestions of some VIPs,Capital punishment, fast track courts ,protest is not the answer.Rape accused are human beings they have emotions and desires,most of them are taxi drivers, daily wage workers and uneducated people. Just have a thought why Kamatipura is still Existed in Mumbai.But it is not the solution . we have to concentrate on education to our children so that they can be a responsible and civilised citizen of India.

We don t know about future whether our organisation going run or not something might happen like recession natural calamity or war in the middle east political instability in the region, question is how can we run in the future Why cant we make collection from Belleans world over as permanent membership of B/V In Case we loose our job in the Middle East membership will be there our organisation run overseas or in India. We can’t show our finger to others, come together and organise massive protest. We Catholics take things very lightly others can take advantage very easily. Recently Udupi Diocese formed, large crowd was there. Where are they now??????

How can they use abusive language towards priest? If someone had done it to other religion priest...by now it would have been a major issue and unrest! Are they taking advantage of peaceful Catholic community and terrorizing them? There are enough educated and law abiding Catholics knowing constitution of India and law of the secular country! In a matter of few months time people may chose right ruling party...peace may prevail in DK! Majority of any religion will not accept such activity. When we oppose oppression on catholic...such incidents may get reduced. Police force and ruling machinery should be unbiased for making a better tomorrow.

We are christian Belleans useless how many of made protest or comment on this issue except Ronald, tomorrow they will come to our parish what we prepared for Last time panchayats controversial decision about church rented property our parishioner used as shield by our local politician, Now why cant we make a protest respect our religious views Wake up belleans do something Please don t pretend as silent spectator.
