Riyadh: Aangann Kutam celebrate Easter along with Konkans

Riyadh, 28 April 2014: Aangann Kutam (Aangann Konknechem Riyadh) celebrated Easter, the feast of Risen Lord here on Thursday April 24.

 

The Easter celebrations began with prayer offered by Jovita Frank Dias Bantwal.  Alfred Fernandes Sirsi read the scriptural reading.

 

Mary Alva Mudarangadi, Valerian Sequiera Kinnigoli, Shallet D’Silva Udupi, Anita Shalini Mendonca and Valerian Quadros Mudarangady read the prayer of faithful.

 

Stevina D’Souza Palimar, Caron Reena D’Souza Mudarangady, Alisha Cordeiro Venoor, Geshal and Chrishal Mendonca Mudarangady, presented scintillating dances to bollywood hit numbers.

 

Shallet D’Silva Udupi and Roshan Lobo Bondel conducted the games.

 

Sumptuous dinner was served to all.

 

Finally, games of housie-housie were conducted by Marcel D’Cunha Paladka. DJ Jaison Cardoza Udyavar maintained the spirit of celebration all time high.

 

Aangann Konknechem Riyadh expressed their sincere thanks to all Konkani lovers, well wishers, and many other volunteers who donated their valuable time.

 

Saritha Naveen D’Souza Palimar welcomed the gathering and thanked the Konkani people and also compered the programme.
