‘Bhagya’ Tulu Tele-film directed by Prakash Suvarna Katapadi released

Kaup, 20 September 2010: ‘Bhagya’ the long awaited Tulu Tele-film directed by Prakash Suvarna Katapadi, that highlights the life of a poor fisher-girl and her struggle to improve the economic and social condition of her family and the sufferings that she undergoes while upholding her honour and dignity was inaugurated on Sunday, 19th September 2010 at 3.30 pm at the Vidya Niketan School Auditorium, Kaup.
The first show of the tele-film ‘Bhagya’ was inaugurated by K. Satyendra Pai, proprietor of Vijaya solar, Katapadi by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The guests for the first show included-Shrikar Anchan of Era Softdrinks, Anant Padiyar-President of Rotary Club, Kaup, Prof. V.K. udyavar, Administrative Officer of Vidya Niketan group of Educational Institutions, Manohar Paniyur of Shri Krishna TV Centre, Katapadi, Raju B. Thonse, wrier of the story of ‘Bhagya’ Arnold D’Silva, Proprietor of Mother Care and Leeladhar Shetty, Social Worker of Kaup.
‘Bhagya’ is the presentation of Disha Communications produced by Francis D’Sa of Shankerpura and directed by Prakash Suvarna Katapadi. The story of the film is written by Raju B. Thonse, videography by Sandeep, Music by Rohit Malpe, art by Ramesh Kidiyur and still photography by Kishan Bantakal and Anil Studio Moodubelle. Prof. Sujata Shetty has done ample justice to the tele-film by enacting the main role.
