Dubai: Yakshamitraru presents memorable performance on decennial

Dubai, 15 Jun 2013:  The metro based Yaksha Mitrara Balaga, amateur Yakshagana troupe staged Kateel Kshetra Mahatme, and episode on divinity attached to Durgaparameshwari temple, Kateel in Mangalore, at Sheikh Rashid auditorium, here on Friday June 14.  It was staged as part of decennial celebration of Yaksha Mitrara Balaga.

 

The show was staged with the leadership of renowned Bhagawat – Purushottam Poonja Bottikere and Patla Satish Shetty,  renowned playback musicians Mohan Shettigar Mijar and P V Paramesh, and guest artiste Deepak Rao Pejavar.

 

 

B R Shetty and UAE Exchange CEO Sudhir Kumar Shetty inaugurated the programme.

 

Venus Hotels proprietor Vasudev Bhat sponsored the religious celebrations at the occasion.

 

B R Shetty and Sudhir Kumar Shetty felicitated Yakshagana artistes Patla Satish Shetty, Mohan Shettigar Mijar, P V Paramesh and Deepak Rao Pejavar, make up artistes Gangadhar Shettigar Kinnigoli and Balakrishna Gowda Mijar during the programme.
