It is an adventure. We have many places in Udupi and Mangalore on the river beds and forests where such unique structures can be built. Question is whether we have tourism friendly atmosphere and safety of tourists, hygiene conditions to prevent mosquitos? Our rivers are highly polluted with garbage disposal and drain vents.

Tree house concept is to demonstrate how we can borrow the power of nature to create natural shelter for human beings in a modern, yet ecologically friendly way! I had close association with Charlie (Dattu) during my college/ CYM days. He is a multi talented. We have done many activities, such as dramas, singing, sramadhana s, social activities etc, etc; under his guidance and personal involvement and have won many tropies too. Those days will not come again.

I have known Charles Quadros for many years. He has been active in all church activities. He has been always helpful to needy persons. He is a good singer and actor. I wish him happy and healthy retired life.

The second longest Women’s singles Badminton match between P.V.Sindhu and Okuhara, which lasted 110 minutes has left everybody in owe of Duo’s exceptional work and determination to fight till the end. One of the very best matches I have ever watched on T.V. At one point of time a 73-shot rally is the classic example of the quality of Badminton they played. Wow!!

The Sarva Dharma Swachch Grama Abhiyan in Kuntalnager was a good initiative undertaken by volunteers from various religious communities for the awareness of maintaining a clean and green environment. The significance of cleanliness and hygiene cannot be overlooked by any society. Evan faith and civilization stresses the importance of cleanliness.
Throwing garbage in the streets, roads or parks has become a common practice in our society. In public places dustbins are seldom found, even if dustbins are installed people do not use them properly rather they prefer to throw garbage outside of them. Sometimes it is observed that people clean their homes and shops and throw the garbage on the streets without considering its implications. By adopting a clean and hygienic lifestyle a valuable amount can also be saved when health issues are concerned. Cleanliness does reflects the true nature of our society. We must pay attention to cleanliness as it is also integral part of our faith.
