Trains cancelled, rescheduled on Konkan route

Mangalore, 28 June 2010: Several trains have been cancelled and some have been rescheduled on the Konkan route due to landslip between Padil and Thokur stations.

Train No 635/636 and 637/638 Kabaka Puttur – Mangalore passengers and train No 651/652 Subramaya Road – Mangalore passengers have been cancelled on Monday.

Train No 0215 Madgoan- Ernakulam Express scheduled to leave on Monday was cancelled.

Services of train no 1097 Pune – Ernakulam Express was terminated at Suratkal station and passengers were brought by bus to Mangalore Central and sent by special train to Ernakulam on Monday.

Passengers of train Nos 6346 Ernakulam – Lokmanya Tilak, Train No 2617 Ernakulam- Nizamuddin Mangala Express and Train no 2620 Mangalore Central – Lokmanya Tilak Matsyagandha Express of Monday will be transported by bus from Mangalore Central to Suratkal.

Likewise, passengers of Train No 2618 Nizamuddin – Ernakulam Mangala Express, Train No 6345 Lokmanya Tilak – Trivandrum Netravathi Express and Train No 2619 Lokmanya Tialk –Mangalore Matsyagandha Express of Monday will be transported by bus from Suratkal to Mangalore Central and will be sent by the same trains from there.

Rescheduled

Train No 2977 Ernakulam – Ajmer Superfast Express which was rescheduled to leave at 7 am on Monday was further rescheduled to leave at 10.30 am.

Train No 2617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Express which was rescheduled to leave at 2.30 pm on Monday. However, it was further rescheduled to leave at 6.30 pm.

Train No 2997 Tirunelveli-Hapa Express which was rescheduled to leave at 8 pm  on Monday is further rescheduled to leave at 11 pm.

Train No 6346 Trivandrum- Lokmanya Tilak Nethavathi Express rescheduled to leave Trivandrum Central at 6 pm on Monday is further rescheduled to leave at 10 pm.
