What business are they carrying on?

That human activity alone is responsible for natural calamities visiting upon us is debatable. This planet has seen violent evolution and transformations before human species walked its lengths and breadths in their efforts to survive and create better living conditions. Having said that, the message is non-debatable: Reduce, Recycle and Reuse. That is gospel truth.

Though symbolic, the minister s efforts to encourage citizens towards proper handling of garbage is laudatory. It is fitting because he heads the urban development department. his department should work closely with all CMCs, TMCs, and GPs in improving standards of our public hygiene and cleanlines.

In the past 10 days, I traveled 3,500 Kms, passing through cities, towns and villages in three southern states. This was immediately after ten days of traveling through another Asian country. The contrast was striking! Our public hygiene begs for urgent attention. WE ARE FILTHY and must realize it NOW.

Fast rack Court is a must for several unlawful acts done in and arround Udupi. Criminal Cases are pending for years and criminal are in jails for long times. Justice is being evaded for want of facilities. One Fast track cocurt was recently closed and additional district court has been opened ay Kundapur, putting teh police and apublic besides advocates in difficulties and inconveniences. Therefore FAst RAck court at Udupi is a must apart from the present Manipal incident. Mr Home Minister and C.M. may take immediate steps . It is also necessary that the laww Officials and the present A.P.P. s must also be changed with more experienced and thorough in criminal legal knowledge. With the present the prosecution is not successful at all. chck what percentage of success in prosecution? How there can be law and order?

India has simply been the best team. Just look at their dominance against all the teams. Brilliant Performance by India!!! I do not recall any tournament where India has looked so solid. Congratulations to young Team India for reaching finals. I am very happy to see the way our team is playing now with sheer dominance and class and outplaying every opponent in this tournament.
England has a good batting line up with experience and better bowling than India. But this Indian side has more confident than any other side at the moment. This Final is going to be experience batting bowling line up versus inform batting and bowling line up! India has a much better big match temperament and I think that would be a key factor in the match. While India has won tournaments in the recent past England have never been able to win a 50 over tournament as yet! So it will be interesting to see how they approach this game. I think Anderson versus the Indian openers will decide the contest. It is going to be a contest where the exuberance of youth (India) will lock horns with the fineness of tradition (England) in the final. Whatever said and done India should be overwhelming favorites!

It is shame and disgrace. The people behind this immoral act must be found out and the autuo rikshaw and the driver who carried the persons also must be got in custody. Then the secret wlll be out who are working for this kind of violation of Law, which according to me, is an organized move to destabilze the smooth functioning of the Government. Stern action must be taken immediately. Of late in Udupi Taluk, thefts, house breaking etc have increased and the Police have not been effective. The rural people are living in Panic and feel that all this happens with the collusion of Police with the gangs of robbers/thieves. The Home Minister must review these reports and police action/inaction properly and with a firm hand.

It is my opinion that the Government must regulate Alchohol business in a permit system. That is all Adults according to their earnings may avail permit and draw drinks/brands of their choice from the regulated licenced shops only limiting the Quota per moth and use it at home only. No one sholuld be alloud to be found drunk outside say on streets, driving etc or at Public places.If drinks are to be served in functions it must be regulated with permits and limits of servings and and under no cicumstances fund drunk beyond permitted limits. there must be appropriate punishments of violations of regulations.
This would enable the C.M. in his offer of opening bars to the Unempoloyed, who must be having sufficient qualification to mange and control the bars/ wine shops within the existing rules/Law.Then only the objective of the C.M. would be fulfilled and help serve Unemployment to certain extent. Critics will always be there on politica vendetta and it has to coolely ignored.
