Overwhelming response to Emirates Pangalites Dubai Blood Donation Drive

Dubai, 22 Feb 2013: As announced earlier Emirates Pangalites, UAE an association of Pangala Parishioners residing in U.A.E organized Blood Donation Camp successfully. It was part of their decennial celebration which began last year and still continuing this year as part of 10 events Emirates Pangalites pledged to their parishioners.   The Blood Donation Camp was organized under the slogan “Give Blood. Give Life” Dubai on Friday, 22nd February, 2013 from 10.30am to 1.30pm at the Latifa Hospital (Al Wasl) in Dubai.  There was an overwhelming response approximately 100 donors took part in the Blood Donation Camp.

 

Emirates Pangalites was formed in 2002 uniting all the Pangalites under one umbrella to connect each other, to have a friendly bond of good relationship, and come together to share each others happiness.  Emirates Pangalites was the first association to initiate many charity noble deeds which helped hundreds of needy back in their parish Pangala such as patients, downtrodden, education, housing and the list is endless.  Emirates Pangalites also conducts various medical camps in Pangla in association with Rotary Club of Shankerpura, a novel idea initiated by Pangalites many years ago and still continuing their mission to help the needy.  Many orphanages and old age homes and their inmates are thankful and ever grateful for EP for their relentless help, love, support and financial assistance.

 

 

 

In U.A.E too it organizes important feasts and get-together namely, Nativity of B.V. Mary, Easter and Christmas bringing all the parishioners, families, and friends together. Every year Emirates Pangalites Anniversary is organized showcasing the talents of children and adults through cultural events.  Every year a special picnic, sports day, Domestic Out day is organized.  The ever enthusiastic EP members spread all over U.A.E and come together in unison to organize efficiently all these important events. 

 

Blood Donation is a part of every body’s life as it not only helps to save the patient who needs blood to survive and also helps the donor with a good health.  More the blood you donate, healthier we remain and hence not only Emirates Pangalites but many associations in U.A.E. particular take initiative to donate blood.  It also strengthen the bond of togetherness and we have a sense of being good humane to help the other human friend. It is part of community service and every one’s responsibility to donate blood.
