KWAK Celebrated our lady of Lourdes fest in Kuwait

Kuwait, 20 Feb 2013: Kanajar Welfare Association, Kuwait also Known as Lourdes Kanajar Zamath celebrated “Our lady of Lourdes” fest on 15th Feb, 2013 at Salmiya hall, Kuwait.

 

The program started with lighting the lamp by ex-presidents, present committee members along with current President. Mrs. Charlotte Dsouza offered prayers.  Mr. Edward Dsouza, President of KWAK welcomed all presented Kanajarians and guests, who gathered for the feast. Mrs. Sharal Menezes read the message of Rev...Fr. John Mendonca Parish priest of Our lady of Lourdes Church, Kanajar.

 

 

President Edward Dsouza Ex-Presidents Lawrence Saldanha, Antony Miranda, Henry Britto, Visiting Guest U.C.Poulose- Seaon Ashram, Secretary Steve Rodrigues, Treasurer Ivan Menezes, were present on the stage.

 

“Reventhli Zhar” souvenir inaugurated by Founder President Mr. Lawrence Saldanha, in the memorial of “Platinum Jubilee” of Kanajar Parish and the book will be published on 16th of May 2013 in Kuwait and also in Kanajar.

 

Secretary Steve Rodrigues briefed fast two years programs and Vice- President Antony Miranda announced the statement of account.

 

A cheque of Rs. 10,000/- is handed over to Mr. U C Paulose of Little Flower English Medium School, Ranganpalke under our new scheme “KWAK Educational fund for needy pupil”.

 

Live Music show was organized by Mr. Antony Fernandes and songs sung by Raulph Serrao, Sara Lobo, Tony Santos and Nasser along with Reynal and Rayzel Menezes from Kanajar.

 

Raffle draw was started before the “vote of the thanks” and the winners are as follow;
