Moodubelle, 02 January 2011: There is good news for Belleans who are unable to attend the Centenary Celebrations of the foundation of the Parish of Belle dedicated to St. Lawrence. The Solemn Annual Feast Mass and Centenary celebration will be webcast live on Bellevision.com on Wednesday, 5th January 2011 from 9.45 am.
The trial of the live webcast of the proceedings of the Confraternity Sunday and the grand Eucharistic Procession was successfully conducted on Sunday, 2nd January 2011 by Bellevision team with the cooperation of the engineers from Pace Media, Mangalore which was viewed by quite a number of Belleans living abroad and they have sent their encouraging comments.

| Thank you Fr Joswey and the members of the parish council of Boliye parish for the personal invite to the centenary celebrations of the parish. Let me extend you all the compliments of the season and a very prosperous and fruitful year ahead. During the last two years what is happening in Boliye has brought back all the childhood memories in me. Some of them I did put in writing and some I tried but did not complete because Dr Eugene did a wonderful job in documenting the past history of the parish for posterity. It was a professional work even though all the aspects were not covered. I thank you once again and wish all my dear people of Boliye, their relatives and friends; all Reverend sisters and Reverend Fathers who are from Boliye and those who had served and those who are serving presently in Boliye a very very Happy and Joyful Centenary Parish Feast. May St Lawrence bless you all and keep you all under his protection. The preparations leading to the celebrations were excellent and appropriate. Thanks to one and all. A wonderful job well done! | |
