Let the world know the potential of D.K. district: Capt. Brijesh Chowta

Mumbai (RBI) July 25: Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta appealed to Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, to emphasize the tourism of Mangalore, a wonderful destination on the west coast of India.

 

’Adventure tourism should be introduced at Sasihitlu beach and Blue Flag certification should be given to Sasihitlu beach where India’s first world level paddling competition is organized. The MP requested the Minister to focus on establishing more ’Youth Tourism Clubs’ in Dakshina Kannada district and take immediate action.

Dakshina Kannada district with unique natural beauty and cultural heritage like Western Ghats, beautiful beaches, renowned religious centers, year-round celebrations, sites of historical importance has all the potential to transform into a major tourist destination and the MP has sought ministerial support to achieve this.
