Good to see more Christians joining the politics. More Christian representation in politics is required to have a proper balance and to protect the rights. Hope this good gesture by International Federation of Karnataka Christian Association Udupi Unit recognizing these candidates will encourage them to serve the community to their best ability.

It is really a mess for the pedastrians especially during the peak hours in the morning and evenings in Udupi. It will be risky for children and elderly people to go alone as one has to make circus to pass through.

Glory to God on earth visualized at Belle church when elders day was celebrated making them feel younger and singing with Fr. Sequeira. Fr. Valerian must be very happy to be in Belle with the people he served and most of them during his times a asst. priest and as Vicar of the church were familirar with hi. While he is also an elder he has forgotten abvout it as one could see from the photographs. Fr. Joswey is indeed great , by the able assistance of the parishoioners doing wonders, that is the way a Parish Priest has to be unlike in some other parishoes we get news. If they need any lessons on sustainable solution, they have to look within their own fraternity. Mr. S.R.Rao singlehandedly provided the kind of leadership that cleaned up Surat after the 1994 plague and put in values and administrative systems in place which are still working and keeping that city cleaner any most other cities in our country. S.R.Rao is still serving Union of India, and is available as a role model for our own IAS officers.

Students, teachers, politicians, and the citizens together can start some kind of cleaning drive so that littering habits will decline and it would help on long term to keep our city and Santhekatte clean. People in the neighborhood too may follow this thread. Someone should take the initiative. May be Panchayath or School / colleges. Your opinion fellow commenter’s please.

We need good roads no need to Ac bus stops nobody can going for sitting in bus stop all people hurry in their daily schdules. Insted of Ac busstop please fix air condition in all Buses and roads suitable for ac buses, AC busstop with coffie shop that is business tricks not social work.

Is is good news for all those who travel by bus. More and more such bus stand should build to encourage people to use public transport to reduce the pollution and burden on environemt. But the problem is people are not aware to protect the public property and maintain the cleanliness of these these public places.
Continuous monitoring is required to avoid the miss using of such good places.
