Watching their faces, these kids look very serious about their job affectionately led by veteran Joe Gonsalves. Service to the society has no age barriers - nineteen year olds joining hands with and led by ninety year old. If this trend continue and spread every where we will have an organized Bharath. Wish Joe and his team every success.

A very ggod decision and a very good move to motivate students. They are the live- veins of society and the living forceo. If they are taught and trained in road discipline accidents will be reduced and 75% of traffic of problems will be solved. The use of helmets must be compulsory to all two wheel users. The colleges, schools and Institutions must provide arrangements to keep them safely or if kept on the vehicles at the parking place, Security to protect from stealing. It is this problems causing concerns for studentsand others also. helmet is a safety devise to protect life from fatal accidents of two wheelers. congratulations to The S.P. Mr Annamalai and also Prof. nery cornelio for his initiative to support a noble cause.

Very good experiment of Solar energy. But D.K. Udupi are covered with clouds, rains and some times heavy due. Then if the back up is exhauseted means what is the fate? Can we give up electric power completely? Instead if the ESCOMS arrange for Solar energy projects in Open areas where the clound are rare and effects of solar light is bright, the produce could be linked to Power lines and provided to the consumers. This I thank Mr Ivan D souza would appreciate and take the matter with the Government to have units at every district levels, so that the electric power problems could be mitigated. Mr MLC, please raise your voice in State vidhan Parishat. let the government hear your and our cry. Good Luck.

There is an old saying: If you kill rob. John Tauro seems to believe: If you enjoy , share. He has been doing this through his travelogues ’sometimes provoking mock jealousy, as reflected in the response from a lady in Goa. In the latest instance of his travelogue covering Canada and Niagara Falls, John has kept up his steady improvement in presentation ’ both descriptive and photographic. As in earlier instances, he has projected himself the least and much less his wife Mirror, mirror on the wall; who is the fairest of all? John doesn’t shy away from testing how big he would look standing next to a bear ’ even a shadowy one. His photo of a gathering of goats with the elderly one among them being uninterested in what seems to be the collective (herd) interest for others is very evocative. Also, it seems, like common in India, in Canada also they have unfinished bridges with only one span standing above the water body ’ like a diving board. Congratulations to John and thanks to Bellevision for giving him generous platform on a sustained basis -John B. Monteiro

Stepping down MMS had said that only history will judge him. It is easy to do the house warming and take credit for the house which was built by others. That is exactly the present government is doing. The Shiv Sena has the decency to give credit to where it belongs. They may be fanatics but surely honest.

Umesh Saralaya, Udupi
30/09/2015 17:18:12

This is the right way of development. Solar energy is cheap and now we have technology to harness it. I am sure many houses in Mangalore and Udupi will opt for solar energy as prime source of energy than depending on conventional sources of energy

This is one of the major requirement of Belle which is fulfilled by ICYM and Parish Priest. If the same interest continues and if Belle can produce atleast 10 good keyboard players, then it will be a big achievement. I am sure with the guidance of Fr.Clement Mascarenhas Moodubelle can succeed. Also thanks to the donors who trusted the ability of ICYM and contributed generously

The travelogue, Scenic Canada is such a lovely treat for the eyes! Thanks to John V Tauro, the frequent worldwide traveller. Enjoyed seeing each and every picture of this article meticulously! I was pleasantly surprised the clarity of the pictures and to a certain extent the minutiae about them as well. I think BV readers are privileged to have his travelogues published from time to time, so that those who are unable to visit these beautiful places for some reasons can enjoy perceiving them on their desktop. Look forward to more of these from the traveller (specialist!) and Bellevision in the near future.

Every individual needs to be well equipped with the tools to communicate effectively whether it is on the home front, personal or at work. In fact according to the management gurus, being a good communicator is half the battle won. Yes! I do agree with Ann/Goa that communication starts from home. As we all know very well that even the newborn baby will have his/her first eye contact with the mother and thereon…..

Yes! I do agree that good communication is very important..it should first start at home where the family lives together and if the family has a healthy way of talking and correcting each other..then only will one be able to adapt a good communicative skill..if we are working together with multi nationals there are so many words, expressions that we would come across that other nationals dominate in english which are not proper..but if you are able to communicate well..then its just impossible for you to digest what is being said and will try to not get instigated with the accent as well..also its very important to allow others to feel comfortable and avoid using jargins or slang .. yes it does not matter how much educational background you have..but if you are in the company of people who communicate well and a clear you will always be clear..weather it be on the phone or in person always try to listen and then speak .. never interrupt this creates confusion and misunderstandings..good communication skills are always prime factor if you are in a sales field..one only communicates well if one is confident about him/herself....cheers!

wonders of communications: when I was in Sixth Standard, my English teacher was explaining writing practice. He asked me to write on the Board, Hyderabad Madras Calcutta . I wrote: Hyder a Bad Mad rasCal cutta. You may appreciate this in the light of with communication! How the meaning... ?
