It is wonderful to see Belleans celebrating Monti Festh in a grand manner in Bahrain. Eating vegetarian novem on plantain leaves should be a great experience. I feel that the essence of Monthi Festh is seen and felt among the Mangalorean community overseas than in Mangalore/Udupi as is evident by various reports and pictures from different parts of the world.
