Decennial Celebration by Kappandakariya Yuvaka Mandala

Moodubelle, 02 Dec 2013: Kappanda Karia Yuvaka Mandala celebrated Decennial of the foundation of the association on Friday 29 November 2013. Mrs. Teresa D’Sa, Retired Teacher of Belle Church Aided Primary School hoisted the flag in the morning at 9.30 am.

 

The programme in the evening began from 6 pm.  Manjula K.M. – Sub Inspector Hiriyadka inaugurated the sign board of the road installed by Kappanda Karia Yuvaka Mandala at the junction. From this point guests were taken in procession along with the members of the Yuvaka Mandala.

 

The stage programme was attended by Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes who gave blessings to the programme. Rajendra Shetty, President of the Belle Grama Panchayat presided over the programme. Othe guests included Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, Manjula K.M. Charles Quadros – President of C.A. Bank Moodubelle, Vikas Shetty – Member of Belle Grama Panchayath, Shivaram Saliyan – Member of Belle Grama Panchayath, Mary Alva – President of Prerana Navodaya Swa Sahaya Sangha and Reena D’Souza – President of Kappanda Karia Mahila Mandali, Henry Fernandes – Hon. President, Ivan Dalmeida – President, Satish Kumar – Secretary and Anil Alva – Treasurer were also present on the dias.

 

 

Shri Mahalingeshwara Mahila Yakshagana Kala Mandali Pernankila performed the welcome dance. This was followed by prayer led by Anitha Alva and team.  Henry Fernandes gave the background of the establishment of the KK Yuvaka Mandala.

 

Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes and Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, SI Manjula K.M. and Rajendra Shetty  spoke on this occasion and complimented the KK Yuvaka Mandala on completion of ten years of service and wished well to its members and office bearers.

 

Ivan Dalmeida - President of Kappanda Karia Yuvaka Mandala welcomed the guests and the gathering. The program was compeered by Raghavendra Sherigar. Reena D’Souza – President of Kappanda Karia Mahila Mandala proposed vote of thanks.

 

The stage programme was followed by “Sudanva Moksha” a yakshagana play presented by Sri Mahalingeshwara Sri Mahaganapathi Mahila Yakshagana Kala Mandali Pernankila and sponsored by Latha S. Kamath.
