Udupi: Clashes mar Eid prayers at Kallianpur

Udupi, 17 Oct 2013: An inane clash took place at Kalianpur while Muslim Community were offering namaz at a building in at Nejar on Wendesday.

 

The building was on a stay order raised by the Hindu communities for the construction of the mosque and the namaz was offered there.

 

The pro-Hindu outfits raised the issue and approached the gram panchayat members.

 

 

 

 

Udupi SP Boralingaiah, DySP Prabhudeva Maane Circle Inspector Maruthi Nayak and other police officials are at the spot to ensure there is no untoward incident.
