Udupi: Jaya Karnataka Mobile Campaign to Urge State Authorities for Universal Education arrive in Ci

Udupi, 21 Sep 2013: A peoples’ awareness mobile will arrive here on Monday September 23 with a message to introduce universal education in schools and colleges in Karnataka.
Jaya Karnataka founder president N Muttappa Rai led mobile will begin its journey from Byndoor at 9.30am on Monday proceeding on N H 66 will reach Karavali roundabout here at 12.30pm.
Muttappa Rai will address a public meeting the open ground besides Karavali roundabout.
The mobile will continue its onward journey passing through city bus stand, Kavi Muddana Road, Jodukatte, Lions Club Road, Ambalapady roundabout and joining Udupi district south border at Hejamady to proceed to Dakshina Kannada district.
The mobile campaign aims to urge the state authorities to introduce universal education as the present system is marred with inequalities and biases. The education has commercialized and become a privilege of only rich, while the poor and meritorious students are sidelined because the education institutions are greedy for money.
The education expert and equality in education visionary V P Niranjan Aradhya, Jnanapeeta awardee Dr Chandrashekar Kambara, Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pundalika Halambi, Pampa awardee Dr M Chidananta Murti, Dr Kamala Hamapana, Nadoja Hampana, Baragooru Ramachandrappa, B T Lalita Nayak expressed support for the mobile campaign.
Jaya Karnataka Udupi district unit president Janani Divakar J Shetty said that the students, general public are allowed to welcome the mobile en route to undivided Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district. He also urged the students to follow the mobile in their two-wheelers and cars in large numbers, stated the media release.
