Udupi: Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Giri Balaga ® Kunjarugiri Inaugurated

Udupi, 19 Sep, 2013 : Swami Vishwapriyateerta of Adamar mutt inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations of Giri Balaga ® Kunjarugiri after the Tulsi puja to sage Parashuram at Kunjaru Hill, here on Wednesday September 18.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Swami Vishwapriyateerta said that although Giri Balaga ® is promoted by a group of Brahmins, it has been doing yeomen service among the people of different caste, creed and faiths, said Swami Vishwapriyateerta.  He also conveyed best wishes in its future endeavor.

 

Udupi Shivalli Brahmin Purohit Sangh president Laxminarayan Tantri, Udupi district Hindu Yuva Sene president and Samskara Bharati convener Vasudev Bhat Perampalli were the chief guests of the occasion.

 

Giri Balaga honorary president Govind Bhat was present at the dais.

 

Giri Balaga president Rajumurti Bhat welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Navin Kumar proposed vote of thanks.  Raghavendra Bhat compered the programme.
