Mangalore gang rape: Verdict on September 19?

Mangalore, 18 Sep 2013: The much awaited verdict pertaining to the gang rape of a 15 year old minor girl from Orissa in Mangalore Central Railway Station that occured on July 14, 2010 is scheduled to be delivered on September 19.
A total of four men were allegedly involved in the case. But only three were arrested. Out of the three, two have been found guilty by the 4th additional sessions court, Mangalore. The other arrested has been released due to lack of evidence. The fourth accused has been missing. The quantum of punishment will however be announced either on September 19 or the subsequent day.
K. Ashok (24) of Kadeshivalaya, Bantwal and Nithish (20) from Attavar, Mangalore have been found guilty by the court.
Abdul Sattar alias Ayub (23) of Millat Nagar, Ullal is set free. Shameesha, a resident of Tarva, Payyanur, Kerala has been absconding.
A total of 27 people served as the witnesses.
About the rape:
A 15 yr old girl hailing from Somalpur, Orissa, had been working as a domestic servant in Mangalore. As thoughts about her family started ruling her mind, she decided to go return home. She who escaped from the house she worked in, managed to reach the railway station. A gang of men who allegedly arrived at the railway station, pretended to show her the platform she was supposed to be in, pushed her in a railway compartment and molested her.
