Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank Opens Fifty-Fifth Branch at Kurla (W)

Mumbai, 23 Aug 2013: The fifty-fifth branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limtied, a multi-state scheduled bank was inaugurated at Keshav Bagh building, near Sheethal Cinema, LBS Marg, Kurla (West) here on Wednesday August 21 morning.
Maharashtra former home minister and MLA Kripa Shankar Singh inaugurated the new branch and also conveyed best wishes on thirty-fifth Founder’s Day celebrations.

All India Billawar Federation president and the Bank former chairman and director Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the ATM kiosk, while the Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the safe deposit locker facility.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kripa Singh said that it’s indeed a milestone in celebrating thirty-fifth Founder’s Day of Bharat Bank.  The Bank is surging ahead at the leadership of veteran Banker Jaya Suvarna.  The veteran Congress leader and Billawa community veteran Janardhan Poojary has contributed immensely for his political growth.  The loyalty of Bank;s ordinary customers has elevated the Bank to a leading bank among the co-operative banks in the nation, said MLA Kripa Singh.  He also urged the gather to support the family of Mangalorean Wing Commander Darryl Castelino, who died in the chopper crash while saving the flood victims in the recent floods at Gowrikund, Kedarinat, north India.

Jaya Suvarna said that the Bank is committed to social development along with financial services.  Its an attempt to strengthen the economic position beyond the expectation of customers, by adapting innovations in ever changing technology, and contribute for nation building, said Jaya.
