New Delhi, 5 Aug 2013: One thousand aspiring delegates from various parts of the world will debate and negotiate, to find the best way forward to peace and progress through dialogue and discussions at the Indian Model United Nations (INMUN) that will be organized by Ryan International Group of Schools, here from Thursday August 8 to Saturday August 10.

Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General, United Nations (UN) stated, ‘Youth should be given a chance to take an active part in the decision-making of local, national and global levels.’ INMUN reflects the same sentiment and is annually organized where enthusiastic students and youth from India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka will represent 120 countries to discuss, debate and form consensus to pass resolutions, offering solutions to the recent issues of international importance. The delegates also interact with eminent public figures.

MP Jayant Chaudhary, Centre for Environment & Explosive Safety (DRDO) retired scientist Dr H S Kaprwan, educationist Professor  M M Pant and other eminent professors of renowned universities  and counselors from Embassies will deliver talk on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Grace Pinto, managing director of Ryan International Group of Institutions, said, ‘We firmly believe in empowering the youth of today, to become better global citizens of tomorrow. We are proud to be continuing our association with INMUN and our students are very enthusiastic and look forward to this event. The support we have got from all officials, authorities and participating schools is tremendous. We hope that by the end of the current session, there will be new insights offered by our youth for the problems faced by the world.’

The theme for INMUN is ‘Take a stand.’  The conference provides a platform to collaborate and network to overcome differences and conflict, in order to resolve modern-day problems of socio-political and economic dimensions.
The INMUN Conference, hosted by the Ryan Group of Schools is an initiative of founder chairman Dr Augustine F Pinto and the managing director Grace Pinto.
