Beltangady: Businessman Gunapal Jain dies in an accident

Beltangady, 30 Jul 2013: The Jain Teerthankar Committee president Gunapal Jain died in a Jeep-Bus collision at Hosangady near Venur.

 

 

Jain, with the help of the localites, was carried immediately to the Moodbidri hospital where he was declared dead. Being a famous social worker in and around Venur, many of his followers and localites gathered near the accident spot and in the hospital.

 

He was a businessman, ex-president of Venur panchayat, a social worker and the secretary of Venur Maha Masthakabhisheka Committee.

 

A case has been registered in the Venur police station.
