Mangalore: MLA J R Lobo Reviews Civic Preparedness on Flash Floods in City

Mangalore, 19 Jun 2013: MLA J R Lobo visited the localities of Pumpwell to Ekkur here on Tuesday June 18, which is threatened of flash-floods caused by bloated drains. 

 


As a precautionary measure sandbags were piled up to support the bund from overflowing to households on either side.
MLA Lobo visited the SC/ST colony at Nekkaremar, here where the rain water threaten the neighbourhood.  He also visited Kankanady B village, Hoige Bazaar, Jappinamogaru and Valencia wards to check on civic preparedness to face the threat of flash floods in these localities. 


Corporator Praveenchandra Alva, DCC secretary T K Sudhir, Umesh Devadiga, Krutin Kumar, Naveen Lobo, Sunil Kumar, Nagendra Kumar and others were present at the occasion.
