“Work for the Development of M’lore” JR Lobo at Sneha Milan

Mangalore,01 January 2013:  "There is lack of youth power in Mangalore because there are no job opportunities to them to be retained them in Mangalore.  It is time, we create job opportunities, develop Mangalore on a fast track to feel the power of youth in our vibrant society"  Congress leader speaking on the occasion of New Year Sneha Melan 2013 organized at St. Agnes Special here on Tuesday.

 

The event was organized jointly by JR Lobo and Ronald Colaco (Entrepreneur) to unite all congress workers and well wishers of JR Lobo on the occasion of dawn of the New Year 2013.

 

The event began with the musical program by one of the renewed musicians Shats.  A welcome song:  Ye Sham Masatani invited all the gathering to enjoy a beautiful evening following by a few Hindi and Kannada numbers by various singers and first part ended with a Vande Mataram with lighting of traditional lamp by MP Oscar Fernandes, Conress leaders Mr. JR Lobo, Mr. Abaychandra Jain, Mr.Vinay Sorake and Vijay Kumar Shetty.

 

Speaking on the occasion entrepreneur Ronald Colaco especially came down from Chikmagalure said that it is time to work for victory of Congress in the coming year.  Let us not worry about who gets tickets to contest but If JR Lobo gets the ticket, all should unite and vote for him.  He also said that many have assured him of co-operation for JR Lobo by cooperators, Congress Workers, Congress leader.  He also stressed that he is not belonging to any party but helped whoever approached him regardless, party, religion, caste or creed.  But today I kindly request all to join and vote for Congress representative because it is the need of the hour.  All know what had happened over the years in Karnataka and esp. in Mangalore several communal incidences have taken place and it is time we set our Mangalore right and give people what they need in terms of development, progress and prosperity.    

 

MP Mr. Oscar Fernandes also spoke on the occasion and thanked JR Lobo and Ronald Colaco for organizing this New Year Meet to bring all Congress Workers together under one umbrella SNEHA MILAN.  He said it is not important who gets the ticket to contest election for Congress but it is very important we vote for that person whoever he is united for the future of Mangalore which was a most peaceful land but have spoiled its name due to many bad incidents.

 

Also present on the occasion were Congress Leaders,Mr. Ivan D’Souza, Mr. Ramanath Rai and Mr. Suresh Ballal.

 

A grand dinners was arranged on the occasion for all those attended.  Also lucky coupons were drawn on entry tickets for the five lucky NEW YEARS GIFT winners.
