Udupi: Police Present CPI (M) Protesters in Court; File Cases on 3 Escapees too

Udupi, 29 Dec 2012: The policemen presented 182 CPI (M) protesters who were arrested while protesting at Sri Krishna temple, here on Thursday December 27 morning, before the judge on Thursday night. 

 

 


The cases are being filed on the protesters for hindering their duty under different sections of IPC. 

 
The protests were held against Sri Krishna temple authorities, for their alleged partialities in dining facilities for devotees of Brahmins and non-Brahmins.
 

Meanwhile, cases are also filed on three protesters, thirty-eight-years-old Venkamma from Kolar, forty-one-year-old Venkatesh from Bangalore and twenty-two-years-old Vivek from Ramanahalli, Mysore who escaped from police custody.
