Moodubelle: ICYM presents Christmas Tableau spreading message of peace and love

Moodubelle, 26 Dec 2012: The ICYM of St. Lawrence Parish organized Christmas Tableau spreading the message of peace and love at five different locations on December 25, 2012 from 3 pm to  7 pm. There was encouraging response from people belonging to the respective areas.

 

First, the tableau proceeded to Mattar at 3 pm. Nearly 80 people assembled near the Panchayat Building. Fr. Lancy Saldanha and Fr. Paul Sequeira accompanied the tableau. Mr. Bhaskar Shhetty, Senior teacher of Edmeru School speaking at this occasion appreciated the efforts of the youth in presenting the Christmas tableau and spreading the message of peace and love. Youth also sang Christmas hymns. Cake and cold drink sponsored by Mrs. Benny and Mrs. Anitha were distributed to all those who were present.

 

From Mattar, the tableau came back to Naalkubeedhi where nearly 125 people assembled in front of Annapoorna Cmmercial Complex. Fr. Maxim Pinto and Fr. Paul Sequeira were present. Here also Mr. Bhaskar Shetty spoke on the importance of Christmas. Cake and cold drink sponsored by  Golden Caterers were distributed to those present.

 

Next, the tableau proceeded to Marne where  nearly 150 people were present. Fr. Joswey Fernandes,  Fr. Paul Sequeira, Fr. Maxim Pinto, Fr. Lancy Saldanha and Alphonse K. Alva, President of the Parish Council were present. Mr. Dayananda Nayak  delivered Christmas message. Cake, banana and Cold drinks sponsored by Joswin Noronha were distributed.

 

 

At Thirlapalke around 100 people assembled to welcome the Christmas tableau. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Fr. Lancy Saldanha and Alphonse K. Alva were present. Fr. Paul Sequeira gave the Christmas message. ICYM sponsored cake and cold drink.

 

At Moodubelle, the tableu was presented  near the Canara Bank building. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Fr. Lancy Saldanha, Fr. Maxim Pinto and Alphonse K. Alva were present. Nearly 250 people were present at Moodubelle. Mr. Harish Shetty, member of the Belle Grama Panchyat delivered the Christmas message. Cake and Cold drink sponsored by ICYM was distributed.

 

At all  the places where the tableau was presented Noel D’Souza, member of the iCYM welcomed the gathering and also proposed the vote of thanks.

 

Kevin Britto, President of the ICYM, Alwyn Lobo, Vice President, Glen D’Souza, Treasurer and other members were present on this occasion.

 

The vehicle to carry the tableau was sponsored by Gilbert D’Souza, Hary Wilson and Arun Castelino. Sound system by Roshan Castelino.
