M’belle: Christmas celebrated in Syndicate Bank with customers

Moodubelle, 24 Dec 2012: Following the tradition of previous years the Moodubelle Branch of the Syndicate Bank organized Christmas celebration along with the customers of the Bank. The bank office was well decorated. At the entrance a small and meaningful crib was placed. Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes was the chief guest. Jayaram Kamath, Senior Manager of the Regional Office, Commodore Jerome Castelino, Dean of St. Lawrence College and Principal Dr. Eugene D’Souza, and Devdas Hebbar were the guests of honor. Quite a number of customers were also present.
Mrs. Blossom D’Souza, Manager of the Moodubelle Branch of the Syndicate Bank welcomed the guests and customers. Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes inaugurated the Christmas celebration by lighting the lamp and also by cutting the Christmas Cake.
In his message, Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes explaining the significance of Christmas said that Jesus Christ was born in this world to bring peace and love to humankind.
On behalf of the Bank customers, Mr. Srinivas Ballal, Senior Teacher in St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School said that Christmas signifies brotherhood among the people irrespective of their religion and region.
Mr. Sudhakar Hegde, Assistant Manager of the Syndicate Bank proposed the vote of thanks.
