Picnic Day Out of Bethkati Belman in Dubai

Dubai, 14 Nov 2012: U.A.E this year experienced a long period of summer temp running up to 50deg C plus from May to October 2012.  However it started to cool down in October and finally people started to venture out to picnic spots to enjoy and relax a bit.  One of the association of U.A.E. St. Joseph’s Bethkati Belman had first picnic of their members on 9th November 2012,

 
A large number of Parishioners of Belman living in the UAE attend their annual day out event organized by St. Joseph’s Bethkati Belman. The picnic was held at Creek Park in Dubai. The fun filled day began with a tasty breakfast of Idli-Sambar and Tea. Around 85 parishioners and their guests attended the event.

 

 
Anil Prakash, a friend of the Belman parishioners ably managed the day with lot of games and activities and the members thoroughly enjoyed the whole day out.   To organize the games in a orderly manner he attendees were divided into 2 groups and named them Red and Green.

 
They enjoyed the total fun filled games such as: Dodge ball, Throw ball, Dog and the bone, Housie-Housie and many more.

 
Housie game was sponsored by John D’souza, Cloyd Monteiro and Robert Aranha. Anil Cardoza proposed vote of thanks. The event ended with a game of Tug of War.

 
A sumptuous lunch was served, courtesy of Al Shay Restaurant-Karama. 

 
The event emphasized the need for the families to get together and enjoy the day forgetting the tensions of the daily lives in UAE.  Overall it was a memorable day for Bethkati Belman Parisioners in Dubai.  A day well spent and enjoyed thoroughly.
