Dubai: Bethkati Belman celebrates annual fest

Dubai, 17 May 2016: Mercury of gulf region was on high but festive spirit of Belmangars didn’t soar down, It was a full packed party loving crowd turned around Al Wasl Sports Club.

 

Mesmerizing band EAGLES, lead by Prashanth Sequeira opened up Belman Grand feast 2016 with live music show.

 

Mr. James Mendonca,chief guest who after lighting lamp on honor of Belman patron St.Joseph spoke on "Difficulties faced by our community in organizing social events, he further advised residents of UAE to take up self employment and stressed on coastal Konkan region expatriates to affiliate with our their community associations for overall development motherland".

 

Bilingual coastal Film Industry Actor & Director,Mr. Pradeep Barboza was invited as guest of honor he thanked BETHKATI officials for recognizing his talent and giving support to artists in the event  and Mr.Joseph Mathias another guest  on dais spoke on bringing on reforms in our culture , practices during traditional events and rendered his voice for a Konkani song.

 

 

 

Emerging singer Mr. Melwyn rocked party with his noteworthy mimicry well supported by local Belman comedians and  crowd through Baila dance.

 

Crew members from much talked "Ek Aslyar Ek na", first Konkani movie to be premiered in Gulf this month’s 20th day, showcased new songs and movie teasers during cultural entertainment.

 

Mr. Ivan Periera, President (2016-18) of BETHKATI expressed his confidence for days ahead and sought support of everyone after receiving torch from Former President, MC for day Uttam covered all formalities for the day with support of Mr. Walter. All Benefactors of Belman association were felicitated by Mr. Ivan Dsouza. Annual activity report was read on the occasion and everyone enjoyed the sumptuous buffet lunch served by London Suites Hotel.

 

BETHKATI Belman organisation thanks everyone for witnessing their fiesta day and promises to carry forward more social events &community development projects in near future without any boundaries for our coastal region.
