Moodubelle: Top scorers of SSLC and PUC felicitated by the Catholic Sabha

Moodubelle, 22 August 2012: The Moodubelle Unit of the Catholic Sabha felicitated top achievers in SSLC and PUC Examinations held in March 2012.  The felicitation function was held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 4 pm in the Parish Hall.  Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes, Parish Priest presided over the function.

Mrs. Helen D’Souza, President of the Moodubelle Unit of the Catholic Sabha welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, member of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat who was the guest of honour in her address highlighted the importance of  higher studies and said that young students should seek government jobs and be help to the community. Sr. Irene in her message stressed upon the need for the students to think about their future. Mrs. Jacintha D’Souza, Secretary of the Parish pastoral Council wished well to the students.

 

 

 In his address, Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes called upon the students to mould their lives with God’s love as they pursue their higher education. He congratulated all the successful students and especially those who scored distinction and first class marks and urged upon them to improve further their percentage  in future as well.

 Mrs. Emilia Noronha, Secretary of the Catholic Sabha read the report of the Moodubelle Unit of the Catholic Sabha.

SSLC: Ashuntha Arline D’Souza-542 Marks(Distinction);  Adan Edwin Menezes-534 Marks(Distinction);  Natasha Nazareth- 528 Marks (First Class);  Smithal Ashwitha D’Souza-506 Marks (First Class); Tenisha Menezes-506 Marks (First Class)

 PUC: Vipin Loy Machado-543 Marks(Distinction);  Vilkinson Derick Menezes-524 (Distinction); Melisha Fiona Rebello-520 (Distinction); Saritha Lavina D’Souza-480 (First Class)

 At the end of the function, all children who were present were given gifts by Mrs. Helen D’Souza.
