25 May 2012: CSK reached playoffs by "various reasons", but from there ‘on, their championship defense has begun in right earnest. The only team consistent this season in playing as a team is KKR and they are already in the finals and they deserved it. Now, we are suddenly encountering another team that was out of nowhere, have just started to play more like how they used to play throughout all these years and a serious confidence breaker for DD. And whoever KKR is going to meet in the final, I believe technically they have the edge, but there is the big stage pressure factor which MS’s men are known to put at ease.

 

CSK rose from the depth of 17 for 2 in 5 over’s and once again showed why they are into final 4 stages for the 5th time in a row. Such a formidable side!!! This is the major difference between CSK and rest of the teams. In a high pressure game when they got off to a start like 4/2 in 3 over’s.  No team could possibly recover the way CSK did. They have big match players...  MI plummeted from the height of 50 for no loss in 5 over’s Badri, Dhoni, Bravo Morkel need special mention... They have big match players. Even though, the batting form of Vijay and Raina concern a bit, shouldn’t affect the team’s morale and for the crucial match against DD on Friday. Remember they were not in so great form in the last IPL as well but turned around the matches in the qualifiers and finals. 

 

 Everyone is looking forward to another thrilling contest on Friday. If Viru and Warner get going, no bowler can stop them for sureConsistency is the main issue for MI this season although they have their best team in all IPL. Their highest run getter (Sachin) for last three seasons was never get going & Malinga somehow forgot the knack of taking wickets in later half of tournament are the main reason with not having a settled opening combination throughout the tournament, the hot & cold Rohit &Skipper Harbhajan was too timid to complete his quota in most of the matches & not to talk about his wicket taking capabilities had put an end to succeed further in IPL 5 is a big disappointment.
