Shirva: “Rotary Awareness” information workshop held

Shirva, 30 January 2012: Rotary Awareness information workshop was conducted by Katapadi Rotari Club in K.V.S.M College Auditorium for the Rotary District Zone 3 office bearers. Speaking as the resource person Dr. Sooryanarayana Rao President of Youth Exchange Committee Puttur, briefed on the Rotary Club which was established in 1905 and the recent developments and the programs being conducted towards the service.

 

 

The program was presided over by Katpadi Rotary President Jagannatha Kote. Zonal Deputy Governor R.K. Patkar briefed on the programs of Rotary District and the Zone. Other guests present on the dias were; M.G. Nagendra Shankarapura, Shikara Anchan Katpadi and Eric Pias Kinnigoli. Zonal Secretary Dr. Gururaj Shirva conducted introduction.

 

In the program Manorama S. of Taranga magazine, Narayan, Deputy Governor elect Manohar Rao, Former Deputy Governor Dr. Bharathesh, M.N. Dhanakeerthi, B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva were present. Tulasi Devadiga conducted prayers. Secretary Mattu Harish Rao compeered the program and also proposed vote of thanks.
