Scouts & Guides inauguration at Infant Jesus School, Chikmagalur

Bangalore, 18 December 2011: Inauguration of Scout & Guide Units:-  The inaugural function of the Scout & Guide units at Infant Jesus School, Chikmagalur took place on 15th December, 2011, at 10 a.m. Mr. Shadakshari M N (District Chief Commissioner – Scouts & Guides) inaugurated the units by lighting the lamp.  Mr. Shashidar Rao (District Secretary – Scouts & Guides) hoisted the Flag, Mrs. Celmentine M Pinto (District Commissioner – Guides) did the investiture and Rev. Sr. Cynthia Suares, UFS (District Training Commissioner – Guides) received the oath. 

 

 

 

 

30 cubs, 26 Bulbuls, 28 Scouts and 22 Guides, making a total number of  106 members joined this movement and promised to be better citizens of the country.  Mrs. Theresa Rodrigues, Mr. Santosh T R and Miss Namitha Maria D’Souza the three trained scouts and guides teachers prepared the students for this event.  Miss Supriya compered the programme and Bro. Victor Crasta, the principal of the school proposed the vote of thanks and invited more and more students to join these units.
