Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh Bondel Unit Office Bearers 2025–26 Formally Take Charge

Mangalore: On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., members of the Catholic Sabha Bondel Unit gathered in the church mini-hall for a significant and prayerful ceremony marking the formal installation of the 2025–26 office bearers.The evening commenced with a prayer, reading of the Word of God, and a reflection, all led by members of the Catholic Sabha Association. A hymn in honor of the Holy Spirit was sung with reverence, setting a spiritual tone for the proceedings.

 

Mr  Stephan D’Silva, President of the Bondel Unit, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. He gave special recognition to the City Varado President, Mr  Arun D’Souza, and Vice President, Mr  Denzil Pinto from Derebail Parish. The Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr  Andrew Leo D’Souza, was also warmly welcomed with a rose by the President. The election observer was similarly greeted with a floral gesture.

 

The gathering acknowledged the successful completion of the unit’s election held on March 9th, 2025. Mrs. Lynet Pinto presented the annual report, highlighting the unit’s activities and achievements over the past year. Treasurer Mr  Manish Mascarenhas presented the financial report. Before the oath-taking ceremony, Mr  Denzil D’Souza read out the rules and responsibilities of the office bearers. Following this, all the newly elected office bearers took their oath in front of the members gathered, affirming their commitment to serve with dedication and integrity.

 

In his message, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr  Andrew Leo D’Souza, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing office bearers for their dedicated service and congratulated the newly elected team. He assured them of his full support and guidance. Emphasizing the core values of the Catholic Sabha—service, sacrifice, and unity—he encouraged the members to continue supporting every family in the parish with commitment and compassion.

The candidates for all the posts were unanimously elected. The new office bearers are as follows  :

City Varado President Mr  Arun D’Souza congratulated the newly elected office bearers and thanked the former team for their wonderful work and unwavering commitment. Vice President Mr  Denzil Pinto also congratulated the new leaders and shared how the Catholic Sabha had helped him grow in his mission and develop his leadership skills.

 

The former President congratulated the newly elected members and expressed sincere thanks to all members for their consistent support in executing various programs with financial backing and encouragement. Having served three terms as President, he also took a moment to specially thank Media Convenor Mrs  Meena Barboza for her Impressive  service.

 

Newly joined members were welcomed warmly into the  Catholic Sabha family. Internal Auditors Mr  Wilfred Alvares and Mrs  Juliet Dante were congratulated by the President for taking up this important responsibility.

 

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs  Olivia D’Sa . A thanksgiving hymn was sung to mark the close of the event, followed by a fellowship meal shared joyfully among all the members.
