Manipal Arogya Card Scheme Extended Till 8th August 2011

Mangalore, 28th July 2011: Dr Madhusudan Upadya, Deputy Medical Superintendent, KMC Hospital Attavar announced that the Manipal Arogya Card enrollment date has been extended to 8th August 2011. There was a Popular demand to extend the date as people far off were not able to make the enrolment.
 
Giving details of the Manipal Arogya Card Scheme, Dr Madhusudan Upadya said; “By paying a nominal amount, anybody can become a member and can avail of the facilities. Those interested can become members till 8th August 2011”. One of the advantages of the Manipal Arogya Card is that it covers all Pre-existing diseases. The benefit is given on the final bill and hence full benefit is passed on to the members. There is no upper limit or maximum limit for giving benefit. Manipal Arogya Card can be used any number of times during the year, Dr Madhusudan Upadya added. There is also a flat 25% concession on the Inpatient bill in general ward (excluding consumables) and it can be availed any number of times during the year. 10% concession on medicines purchased from pharmacy & 20% discount on diagnostics and laboratory investigations are also offered in this scheme” he said.

 

 
Manipal Arogya Card is a unique scheme in which the discounts on treatment can be availed on pre-existing diseases as well. Manipal Arogya Card is priced at just Rs 250/- for individual card and Rs 500/- for a family card. Family includes card holder, spouse and children below 21 years of age (any number of children). An add-on card is also available for parents of primary card holders under family card scheme for Rs 100/- per parent. For renewals, 10% discount on membership fee is offered.

Applications for the scheme is available at KMC Hospital, Ambedkar Circle & Attavar, Mangalore; Kasturba Hospital, Manipal; Dr.TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala; Dr.TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi and Syndicate Bank branches.
