Konkan Dabazo 2019 – Konkani Entertainment Extravaganza in Dubai by JAKC, Jebel Ali

Dubai, 04 Feb: The Organizers – JAKC (Jebel Ali Assisi Konkani Community) is all set to entertain the Konkani community of UAE with this year’s spectacular entertainment programme ‘KONKAN DABAZO 2019’. The mega event with high quality entertainment will be held on 7th Feb’ 2019 (Thursday) starting 7.30 PM onwards at the Parish Hall, St. Francis of Assisi Church, Jebel Ali – Dubai.

 

‘KONKAN DABAZO 2019’ is a fun-filled Konkani entertainment programme consisting of Konkani Songs, Skits, Dances and Live music presented by the local talent of JAKC. It is also a platform for the Konkani speaking community to exhibit their talents.

 

 

The event will be hosted by comperes of JAKC. Live band features renowned musician Patrick Pereira and team. Konkani songs will be sung by GVOM Winner – Sabitha Mathias, Runner up – Aenson Mathias and JAKC singers who are sure to rock the show with their mesmerizing music. Variety of Dance performances by kids and adults are lined up to entertain the audience.

 

One of the highlight of this year’s event is a short Konkani Comedy Play – ‘UPRANTCHCH KALCHEM’ enacted by well-known actors of JAKC. This play is written by Nellu Permanur, directed by Vernon D’souza and music by Franklin Rodrigues – Siddakatte.

 

JAKC, inspired by their success in the past and the overwhelming response they have received for this Mega event, are planning this event with the sole objective of providing fun filled entertainment and promoting the rich heritage of Konkani language and culture.

 

JAKC has promised to provide an evening of unlimited entertainment and invites all Konkani lovers to be a part of this mega event. The event will be followed by community dinner. Entry to this event is free. Don’t miss the fun.
