Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait Celebrates Parish Feast

Kuwait, 04 Feb 2015: Pius Nagar Welfare Committee Kuwait (PWCK) organized its Parish Feast at Indian Community School Auditorium, Shara Amman, Salmiyah here on Friday January 30 evening.

 

Fr Noel D’Almeda, parish priest of St Daniel Comboni, Abbassiya here, NRI Forum president Pascal Pinto, Gulf Voice of Mangalore-Season - 4 winner Morivine Quadros, PWCK president Richard Menezes and vice president Praveen Menezes cut the cake to symbolically start the feast.

 

Pascal Pinto and Richard Menezes felicitated Morvine Quadros was honored with a memento and flowers on the same occasion.

 

PWCK general secretary Remy Fernandes presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of PWCK.

 

Fr Noel lauded the dedication of PWCK members towards the Pius Nagar parish in Udupi diocese.

 

Pascal Pinto thanked PWCK members for forging the bond among the parishioners and for their noble deeds.

 

The well known dance group of Kuwait – Jovas Group presented mesmerizing dances as part of entertainment programme. Melodious Songs were sung by Morvine Quadros, Gulf Voice of Mangalore Season - 4 semi finalist Raina D’Mello, Maxi Pinto, Irene Santhumayor and Nelson D’Souza entertained the crowd with their melodious singing.

Several games for children and adults were held during the event and prizes were distributed to all the winners.

Richard Menezes welcomed the gathering. Vinisha presented the prayer dance.  Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Deepak Andrade compered the programme.

Fr Noel offered prayers over the graces of food. The sumptuous food was served by PPS Caterers, Salmiya, here.
