Udupi: Zonal United Christian Association Inaugural on Nov 21

Sasthan, 20 November 2010: United Christian Association a registered body of diocesan laity floated by veteran Christians from all walks of life. Its Udupi-kundapur Northern Zone will be inaugurated in a function at Chethana High School Auditorium Hangarcutta near Sastan at 10.30 a.m. Sunday November 21.

 

Retired High Court Judge Justice M.F. Saldanha will inaugurate the Association. Udupi Zilla panchayth President Gladys D’Almeida will preside.

 

 

Udupi Zilla Panchayth Member Jerald Fernandes, Former Udupi Taluk Panchayth president Veronica Corenelio, Konakani Journalist Mourice D’Sa , Dirvem Konkani weekly Editor John A. Monis will be the Chief Guest.

 

United Christen Association Has been formed by vetern Konkans in an effort to promote unity, brotherhood, educate less fortunate and illiterate community brother, to create political awareness and cultivate harmony in the society to avail government facilities meant for needy and Poor community brethren and other actions for the welfare of Christians.
