Date Nut Bread

  1. Chopped dates:  One cup
  2. Chopped nuts: Half cup
  3. Hot water: One cup
  4. Brown creamy sugar: One cup
  5. Dalda: One cup
  6. Flour (Maida): Three cups
  7. Eggs: Four
  8. Baking powder: One  tea spoon
  9. Salt: Half  tea spoon


Soak dates and nuts in hot water for one hour.

Add brown creamy sugar and dalda.

Add eggs and  date and nut mixture.

Combine with flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.

Pour the entire mixture in a baking dish.

Bake for about 45 minutes to one hour.




You can use any one of the following nuts as per your choice: almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts.
