Apple Crunch Pudding

  • 1 tin Nestle Condensed Milk
  • 3 nos. + 2 egg whites .Eggs
  • 1 pkt Marie Biscuit
  • 75 GMS Butter
  • 6 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 big Apple
  • 2-3 limes Lime Juice
  • 1 pot (250 gms) Fresh Cream


Crush the biscuit into very coarse powder. Beat the sugar and the butter together and add to the powdered biscuit.


In a baking dish smear little butter all over. Spread the biscuit mixture evenly over the base of the dish and press down. Peel, core and cut the apples into wedges. Slice them into medium thick pieces and stew with two tablespoons of sugar.


When cool spread over the biscuit layer. Seperate the yellow and the white from the eggs. In a bowl put the condensed milk and the egg yolks together and beat well. Add the limejuice also. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg white to the above mixture. Pour the beaten milk and egg mixture above the apple layer. Cover with a foil and keep the dish in another one with water and bake in an oven till it sets and become golden brown.


In the meanwhile make meringue of the two egg whites by beating it very stiff with two-tablespoon sugar. Decorate the pudding with this and put it in the oven till the top becomes golden brown.


Take out, Cool and chill. Serve with fresh cream.
