  • 1kg Dosa Rice
  • 200gm Urid Daal
  • 25 Colocasia (Patra) leaves
  • 6 red chillies
  • 2 teaspoon jeera whole
  • little tamarind

For Masala:

  • 5 red dry chilly
  • 2 teaspoon coriander whole
  • 1 teaspoon jeera
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustrard
  • 1/2 coconut grated


Grind rice and all spices together make a thick batter, cut Colocasia (Patra) leaves in finely chopped, mix with batter, add salt to taste and steam the mixture untill cook.


Grind all the spices with coconut until paste, then heat the coconut oil, add mustard seeds and one peice of garlic, fry until brownish color and add masala paste; bring to boil, then cut the steamed pathrade into small peices or cubes, add into the boiling masala and mix well.
