Benny’s Family Special
Delicious Nutri-Salad


  • One large potato, cut into cubes and boiled
  • One cup boiled peas
  • One cup cut and boiled carrot
  • One cucumber cut into cubes
  • One capsicum cut into strips
  • One apple cut into cubes
  • Four leaves of lettuce
  • Four boiled eggs
  • Two tomatoes 
  • One cup thick curd
  • One cup milk cream
  • One cup coarsely powdered cashew nuts
  • One tea spoon pepper
  • One table spoon sugar
  • Salt as per taste

Method of Preparation:

  • While boiling potato, peas and carrot add little salt.
  • In a large bowl put the boiled potatoes, carrot and peas and also cut cumber, capsicum and apple and keep in the refrigerator.
  • Take another bowl and mix slowly thick curd, milk cream, cashew nut powder, pepper, sugar and salt and keep in the refrigerator.
  • Before serving pour the cream mixture over the contents in the first bowl and mix.
  • Spread the lettuce leaves on the serving dish and pour the mixed salad over it and decorate it with sliced boiled eggs and tomatoes.
