Fish fry with green masala

  • Four to five pieces of fish
  • One inch long ginger piece
  • Four  garlic cloves
  • Three green chillies
  • Four strands coriander leaves
  • Few pudina leaves
  • One teaspoon thick tamarind water
  • Half cup sooji (rava)
  • Oil
  • Salt as per taste


Make a paste of coriander leaves, green chillies, tamarind, ginger,garlic and salt without adding much water.

Apply this paste to fish pieces and leave it for around 30minutes.

Roll the fish in sooji and shallow fry in frying pan.


This preparation goes well as side dish with rice and dal or even curry.
